Celebrating 6 years!

Join us as we celebrate six years since the birth of the Prayer House—a beautiful milestone of faith, prayer, and community. We’ll gather to worship together, enjoy fellowship, and share some simple snacks as we give thanks for all God has done, and we look ahead with hope. We would love for you to be part of this spec

Burning of the Prayers

During our time together, we gathered the written prayers and, in a quiet and reverent moment, committed them to the fire—watching as the smoke rose like incense before the Lord. It was a sacred act, a visible expression of our trust that every whispered hope and heartfelt cry is received by Him. As the prayers lifted

Friday Morning Prayer Times

We prayer walk every Friday morning, leaving the prayer house at 8:30 am.  Within that prayer walk we have standing dates at two locations: 1) Every first Friday of the month we meet at 9 am at the little park next  to door C at Frederick Memorial Hospital. Feel free to join us at 9 am in that little park. 2) Every second Friday of the month, we meet at 9 am in front of the School Board. Feel free to join us there.

Lectio 365 now has a noon time prayer.

If you have never used the Lectio 365 prayer app we would like to bring it to your attention. Currently there is a morning and evening prayer rhythm. On January 1st a noon time prayer will be added.

Calling men to prayer, every morning at 7:00 am

Everyday for two years men have been praying at the prayer house. This prayer time has now moved to zoom. Let us know if you want to pray for the nations with us. Come join the movement.

Who: Anyone is welcome, but the focus is on men fulfilling their call from I Timothy 2:8, “Therefore I want the men everywhere to pray, lifting up holy hands without anger or disputing.” What: We pray for the nations. Come experience prayer with other men who are leaning into God’s heart. E-mail us for the zoom link.

Pray for Frederick County Schools!

We are currently inviting individuals and churches to  adopt one of the 75 schools in the county as their prayer school. The ask is that you have at least two people each week pray for the school and that you prayer walk around the school once a month. Send us an  e-mail if you would like to adopt a school.

Prayer walk with us, every Friday morning at 8:30 am.

Each Friday morning we gather to prayer walk, faithfully lifting our community before the Lord, and on the first Friday of every month we meet outside the hospital at 9 a.m. to intercede in a special way for those inside. Recently, we had a meaningful encounter with a nurse who had served there during the COVID season; she shared that she felt drawn to come out and pray with us, and was deeply moved to see that this simple, steady practice has continued for nearly six years. In that moment, we were reminded that seeds sown in faith—often unseen—are still bearing fruit, touching hearts in ways only God can orchestrate.

Do you have a daily rhythm of prayer.

The early disciples and Jesus himself ordered their daily lives around praying three times a day. What would it look like if we recaptured those daily rhythms of prayer? Do you want to try it? Download the free app anywhere you get your apps for your phone. It is free and called the Inner Room. See what others are saying about the practice of praying into the Lord's Prayer in the morning, praying for the lost at noon, and praying a prayer of gratitude for the day in the evening.
