Our Mission
We exist to inspire, equip and mobilize people to an awakened prayer life here in Frederick County and beyond. The 24-7 Prayer Room is located in downtown Frederick, providing a safe space to come meet and interact with God. It serves as a Christian fueling station both for the city's faith community and for those who are searching spiritually. It is an interactive, engaging and dedicated place for people who would like to get some one-on-one time with God. It is the work of many downtown churches working together to offer a different kind of sacred space for Frederick. Come experience an oasis in the midst of chaos, hope in the midst of uncertainty, peace in the midst of storms. We are not a church, we are not a store, we are a place of prayer!
What exactly is the 24-7 Prayer Room and how do I use it?
24-7 is a cozy, safe and non-threatening environment in which to search for and experience the presence of God. Our open hours are 8:30 am to 8 pm every day of the week. A site map is located just inside our space, along with interactive and engaging work stations that a person may interact with as long as needed.
Contact us to reserve space for larger groups and after-hour use.
A host can be available to pray with individuals at their request.
The 24-7 Prayer Movement
The 24-7 prayer movement is an interdenominational movement of prayer, mission, and justice that began with a single, student-led prayer meeting in Chichester, England in 1999 and has spread, by word-of-mouth, into over half the nations on earth. Click here for the world-wide web site.
Collectively, prayer has continued non-stop night & day, since that first vigil in 1999; putting Christ-centered, mission-minded prayer back at the heart of communities all over the world & leaving a global movement of prayer, mission, & justice in its wake. One which continually breathes out wild sacred stories of God answering prayers, reconciling & transforming lives, cities, & regions.

The Prayer Room
In 2020, God inspired a group of diverse pastors to establish a 24-7 Christ-centered prayer space in the city of Frederick for people to connect with God one-on-one. This is a place to host encounters, and ALL people are welcome.
24-7 transformed 202 East 4th Street into a place for people to step out of the fray and refuel.
It's a prayer room for people who live in the real world.
Pray. Read. Reflect. Study. Journal. Intercede. Color. Draw. Create. Chill, be still. Get some one-on-one time with God at your own pace - not someone else's.
